Coachella recently released the lineup for 2022. The wildly popular festival will be taking place on April 15-17 for weekend one and April 22-24 for weekend two.
Per usual, the lineup features top talent across multiple genres. Friday will be headlined by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish will take the headlining spot on Saturday, and Kanye West, or Ye, will be on Sunday. The festival lineup had lots of surprises and disappointments for people as they saw who will be performing. Many had their hopes set on Frank Ocean and Rage Against the Machine carrying over from the 2020 lineup, which did not happen. Some acts I was pleasantly surprised with on the lineup were: 100 gecs, Rina Sawayama, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, slowthai, and black midi. French superstar Stromae will perform on Saturday, something that I had no expected to see. It's easy to bicker over which year has a better lineup, but all I know for sure is that Goldenvoice will put on another show that everyone will inevitably be talking about. Whether you are into electronic, rap, pop, or RnB there are artists across the weekend for you to enjoy.
