British Producer, Vegyn has dropped his newest project, Don't Follow Me Because I'm Lost Too!! The project is a whopping 75 tracks, coming in at around two hours and thirty minutes.
The behemoth of a project features Vegyn's impressive production at the absolute forefront. Don't Follow Me is almost entirely instrumental, featuring tracks that are a mix of ambient, electronica, and everything in between. It seems that it was almost made to be incorporated into live sets as the BPM for each track is in the title next to the name. Though it is easy to get caught up in the spectacle of such an overwhelming amount of songs, this project is full of quality, meticulously crafted tracks from one of the best producers in music right now. His incorporation of various instruments and sounds create such different sonic journeys that the listener can dive into on the various tracks. Each song is like its own vignette that is meant to be explored as the music paints a one of one, unique picture for us to experience.
Don't Follow Me is his latest full-length album since he dropped Only Diamonds Can Cut Diamonds in 2019, and I don't think fans can ever complain about him not dropping enough music after the release. Listen to it while working, driving in the car, or just sitting back at home. However you do it, I'd say that it's worth taking a look at this wild collection of polished tracks. There's so much that fans and listeners can bite onto and take away from the project. I highly recommend giving it a listen whether it be in bits or pieces or the whole way through.
