Megan Thee Stallion live at Coachella [SHOW RECAP]

From the moment she stepped on stage, it was clear that Megan Thee Stallion was ready for this moment. Performing late Saturday night, Megan put on an absolutely electrifying performance that had the entire festival moving.

Megan has had a wild past couple of years. She’s been growing into one of the biggest names in rap today with hit after hit going viral. With constant success coming her way, you can forget how many songs she really has in her arsenal because it has become so commonplace. I was reminded how many absolute hits she has during her performance. It felt like a non-stop party at the main stage. Song after song for forty-five minutes she was playing hit after hit. I never considered myself a big Megan fan, but I was shocked how I recognized almost every song. There wasn’t a moment of dead air during that whole show. Even when she went and did an outfit change, it felt very smooth. Her DJ continued on and blasted through some of the cuts that Megan wouldn’t perform herself. It felt nice and fluid, and before you knew it she was back and ready to go.

Megan performed alongside some live instruments, including a fantastic drummer, and a DJ. The drummer did an incredible job adding more energy into the already electric music she has. It felt like every song had just a bit more of a bounce to it, making it even easier to enjoy. The stage production she brought to the table was top notch. Her dancers were absolutely killing it alongside her. The outfits and set design were stellar. Every single aspect of the performance could catch your eye. Nothing felt over the top. It was all very well planned and effective in creating the absolute best show for the audience.

Megan Thee Stallion is an amazing performer. The energy she brings is second to none. She honestly is a hell of an athlete for rapping and dancing for that whole time and never sounding out of breath. Even if she was, you could never even tell. Her set was one of the most fun of the weekend. She brought so much life to the main stage, I felt like I was at a party for every second. Everyone around me was having the time of their lives. Men and women alike were shaking some ass. If that’s not a successful performance, I don’t know what is.
